Councillors,
To those of you who opposed this bill originally, I am a resident of lower Puna and have been
generally impressed by the quality and seriousness that public safety is given in this county
through the police, fire, and civil defense departments. Please act to maintain this reputation by
doing everything in your power to acknowledge and support the serious public safety issues
surrounding the existence (and past performance record) of the PGV geothermal plant in the
midst of residential neighborhoods. Vote to override the mayor's disapproval!
