Grant Period (Commencement & Completion): July 1, 2011 - August 31, 2012
Goals: Hawai`i's communities have the necessary economic, workforce, and
physical capacity for an aging society.
Objectives: In partnership with the public and private sectors, HCOA will provide at
least 58 older individuals training and part-time employment opportunites.
Outcomes or Results: 71 older adults received training and part-time employment; 3,363 hours
of all community service assignments were utilized in positions serving the needs of older adults;
56 participants had priority designations; and 7 participants were retained in unsubsidized
