SUBJECT: Amendment to Bill No. 296, Which Amends Ordinance No. 12-87, as amended,
Relating to Public Improvements and Financing thereof for Fiscal Year July 1,
2012 to June 30, 2013 (Green Sands Subdivision Water Infrastructure
Improvements)
Please find attached an amendment to Bill No. 296, which increases the appropriation by
$45,000. The proposed amendments are illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to the
contents of Bill No. 296 and bolded for emphasis (material to be deleted is bracketed and
stricken through; materials to be added is underlined).
1. Amending Section 1 to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 12-87, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and
Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, is hereby amended by
adding the following project:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS:
Green Sands Subdivision Water Infrastructure Improvements
(110.499.5498.03) [$1,500,000] $ 1,545,000"
2. Amending Section 2 to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund-Fund Balance and/or
other Sources (Grants) [S-100,000] $ 1,545,000"
Also, please replace the Green Sands Project Data and Financial Impact Statement with the
attached, which reflects the additional cost of fire hydrants.
To reduce the amount of paper used, I have not included a draft copy of Bill No. 296, Draft 2.
