an writing in response to Resolution No. 303'12, urging the repeal of HRS Chapter 17I[ | wou}d like
to further clarity concerns regarding the Public and Deve{opmen1 [wrporation (PLD[) contained in your
resolution.
As mentioned in previoustectimmny' the mission of the PLD[ isto create and facilitate partnerships:
between state and county agencies, departments, 6wsineoex, non-profits' and community groups to
improve communities, create jmbs, and expand benefit. This mission could include projects saD' as the
creation ofollsrdab{e housing, the fixing ofairitin0 infrastructure and support of conservation initiatives.
The following guidelines for PLDC projects responds to your concerns asted in Resolution 303-12:
