Re: Comm. No. 855/Res. No. 310-12
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 310-12, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 310-12, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via Communication
No. 855, dated September 14, 2012, authorizes the acceptance of a donation of three (3)
Winchester -Western Self -Loading Skeet Traps from the State of Hawaii Department of Land and
Natural Resources.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of money.
Mr. Onishi provided Your Committee with directions to the Hawaii County Trap and Skeet
Range.
A letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution will be sent to Department of Land and
Natural Resources, Hunter Education Program, 1130 North Nimitz Highway, A-212, Honolulu,
HI 96817.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 310-12,
and recommends its adoption.
