SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTAIL DISTRICTS
Adds item (13) to section 25-5-3(a) to include raising hens (excluding roosters or male
chickens) as a permitted use for egg production and home consumption use, with a
maximum of four hens per lot.

The Puna Community Development Plan Action Committee and the Pāhoa Regional
Town Center Plan Steering Committee have requested that any up-zoning in the Pāhoa
Regional Town Center planning area be delayed.
