SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 280-12, Draft 3; Urging Adequate Funding of the Hawai`i
Campaign Spending Commission and a Statewide Comprehensive Public Funding System
Please find attached Resolution No. 280-12, Draft 3, which incorporates amendments duly
approved at the October 3, 2012, Council meeting.
The ninth WHEREAS clause was verbally amended by the Council to read (deleted material is
bracketed and stricken, added material is underscored):
"WHEREAS, the Hawai`i County Council Comprehensive Public Funding program is set
to expire [in] after the 2014 election cycle; now, therefore,"
