To Whom This May Concern,
I am an owner/resident of a home and property in Mt. View. I am opposed to Bill 168 (i.e.
application to rezone a residential property to commercial in Mt. View). This area is already
congested with the catholic church, the charter school, the post office, all located on a curve
that obstructs the view of drivers. The Post Office parking is often congested and cars are often
backed up on Hwy 11. At times people need to park across the street and then walk across the
highway to the Post Office. This increases the possibility of a pedestrian/vehicle accident.
Adding another commercial venture in this area would make access comparable to the entry of
WalMart on Makaala street in Hilo. Not a good decision.
