SUBJECT: Amendment to Ordinance No. 12-87, as amended, Relating to Public
Improvements and Financing thereof for Fiscal Year July 1, 2012 to June 30,
2013 (Multi-Purpose Event Center)
Enclosed is a correction to the bill for an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 12-87, as amended,
the Public Improvements and Financing Budget, which appropriates $500,000 for the Multi-
Purpose Event Center project. There was a typographical error - the name of the department was
incorrect. However, the account number and all related information is correct.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 12-87, AS AMENDED,RELATING
TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR JULY 1, 2012 TO JUNE 30, 2013.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 12-87, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and
Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, is hereby amended by
adding the following project:
DEPARTMENT OF [PUBLIC-WORKS] PARKS & RECREATION:
Multi-Purpose Event Center $ 500,000

SECTION 2. Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund-Fund Balance and/or $ 500,000
other Sources
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
