Dear Council Members,
I am writing in favor of this resolution.
I believe we need to act in support of sustainable building practices
and experiments to allow for adaptation and invention. Let's be
pioneers and encourage individual ingenuity in solving ecological
crises.
In particular, I advocate a practice I call "yellow tagging". This
would simply be an announcement to potential buyers and visitors that
the structure is not according to building codes but without making it
illegal. It would be telling buyers and visitors, "at your own risk".
