My name is Gary Cordell and we live in the proposed one mile buffer zone around the Puna Geothermal Ventures
facility. We have invested our retirement nest egg in our home here, and do not want to be forced to move because
of a vocal few who have issues with the plant. Our health is good, our plants all grow,we have no fallout or smells or
dust and the noise from the plant is less than passing cars. Do your research and prove that the plant is a danger
BEFORE passing a bill that devalues our homes and leaves the County open to lawsuits.
I ask you PLEASE DO NOT pass a bill that FORCES those of us who choose to live here to PAY for the unproven
claims of a vocal few.
