Councillors,
Given the marginalization that the people of Leilani Estates, near PGV, have often felt at the
hand of County government and especially the State Department of Health, it would be the least
you can do to legitimize their concerns through this renaming and reallocation initiative. Though
the checks and balances of government are important, the mayor's disapproval of this bill is
puzzling and should be over-ridden by the Council. You have already reflected the interests of
the people by passing this once. I urge you to do so again.
