Councillors,
I understand that a larger number of you are required to override the mayor's disapproval of this
Bill. To me, it is clear that a substantial majority of the people living adjacent to this facility are
opposed to it, are suffering lowered quality of life due to the loud and persistent sound of
drilling, and are also having their actual health affected by the emissions. Please join with these
people, and your peers, in INSISTING that the mayor acknowledge the seriousness of this issue
by RE-PRIORITIZING relocation and public safety as highest concerns in how royalties are
earmarked and spent.
