Aloha, council members,
I'm sorry that I could attend the first hearing regarding the PLDC due to work conflicts. However, I'm
writing to urge you to support Ms Ford's resolution which supports repeal of the PLDC. The reasons
are many but, overall, the PLDC's rules and existence threaten the ability of the public to fairly
influence the use of their land and natural resources, handing control over to a group whose
membership may or may not be sympathetic to the dangers which that corporation's existence poses
to democratic process.
