In accordance with Chapter 24, article 7, division 2, section 24-149(a)(3)(C), regarding the maximum speed limits, the proposed amendment reduces the speed to 25 miles per hour on this narrow and winding road in a residential district. This amendment, to be appropriately numbered, is in Ramseyer format and reads as follows: ”( ) Waianuenue Avenue, from Waiau Street to its terminus at the southern terminus of Bridge 25-2." Due to time sensitive nature of this matter, this bill is being waived from Committee to the Council meeting that is scheduled for November 9, 2012. Thank you. DI:awm Att. < 6 ,\1 33 0 Comm. In reviewing this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation for placement on its future agenda.
