We are transmitting for the Council's review and consideration a resolution to accept a dedication deed for the above-referenced matter. Due to the pressing need for the interconnectivity this dedicated roadway will provide between Mamalahoa Highway Bypass (north segment) and the mauka portion of Haleki`i Street that connects with Mamalahoa Highway, the Department of Public Works is requesting that this dedication be waived through committee and placed on the full Council agenda at the earliest possible time. For your information, the deed has been reviewed by the Department of Public Works, Department of Water Supply, Planning Department, and Department of Environmental Environment. Also enclosed are copies of approval letters from the various departments concerned. Upon acceptance of the above limited warranty deed, please send notification of such acceptance to: (1) the Honorable William P. Kenoi, Mayor of the County of Hawai`i; (2) the Department of Public Works; (3) Senior Deputy Corporation Counsel Joseph K.
