Amending HCC Chapter 21, Art. 5,
Relating to Sewer Connection Loan Program
Dear Chairman and Council Members,
In response to your request for recommendation from the Director of Environmental
Management on the subject Bill No. 312, I am forwarding a positive recommendation on behalf
of the Department of Environmental Management.
I feel the extension of the application submittal time from sixty days to one hundred twenty days
will assist property owners in their attempts to make financial arrangements to meet their
obligation to connect to the county sewer.
