RESOLUTION NO. 328 12
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL'S SINCERE
GRATITUDE TO COUNCIL MEMBER K. ANGEL PILAGO, FOR HIS YEARS OF
SERVICE TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, K. Angel Pilago has represented Council District 8, North Kona(Kailua-
Kona, Kealakehe, Kalaoa and Pu'uanahulu) from December of 2004 thru 2008 and again from
December 2010 thru 2012; and
WHEREAS, during these past two years, Council Member K. Angel Pilago has
participated on all Standing Committees and served as the Vice Chair of the County Council
since June of 2011, Chair of the Committee on Human Services, Social Services and Public
Safety, Chair of the Committee on Governmental Relations, Vice Chair of the Committee on
Planning, Vice Chair of the Committee on Environmental Management, and Representative to
Hawai`i State Association of Counties; and
WHEREAS, Council Member K. Angel Pilago has consistently and unwaveringly
demonstrated personal dedication, leadership, integrity, commitment to excellence, and
outstanding public service to his constituents and to the general public throughout the County of
Hawai`i; and
WHEREAS, Council Member K. Angel Pilago will complete his term of office at Noon
on Monday, December 3, 2012, having compiled an exemplary attendance and voting record for
all Council meetings held during his years in office; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it
hereby extends its sincere gratitude to Council Member K. Angel Pilago for his years of service,
and offers its best wishes for his continued health, success, and prosperity.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawai`i transmit a true
copy of this resolution to Council Member K. Angel Pilago.
