Re: Bill 292
I agree that geothermal exploration, as well as any other industrial noises,
need to be limited to the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM when located within one mile
of residences. Although the one mile seems arbitrary and residents who live
say two miles away may also be negatively impacted. I commend you on this
amendment to the Hawaii County code which will greatly benefit families that
live within one mile of the industrial area. This seems reasonable and prudent
for businesses to adhere to.
