You have no choice. I fully support Bill 292 as written and urge to vote for adoption. I also offer the following as proactive legislation that prevents the existing PGV situation from replicating itself either in Puna or anywhere else on Hawaii Island. Geothermal needs to be done right, geothermal needs to be a good neighbor. PGV/Ormat has done neither, done it right or be a good neighbor. Now is the time to let all prospective geothermal developers know if you expect to do geothermal on Hawaii Island you will do it right and you will be a good neighbor.
