Its unfair to anyone who has purchased a residential lot for that purpose. When I last
testified on Oct. 16th I noticed that the audio I played irritated some of you. The total
length was 1.9 minutes, not 24 hours. Irritation doesn't even closely describe what 24
hours is like living next to the noncompliance of the current law.
Feral chickens are part of this issue. People are raising feral chickens on res.
properties now for food or pets. These chicken wandered on to properties and some
people decided to feed them, free chickens. What guarantees can the council members
give us that this situation will improve. What makes anyone think that by making an
illegal act into a lawful one\ People will start to conform to the new set of rules and
laws. Some of them won't. You can't force some people to obey laws. Our system
can't take more laws without suppling more law enforcement.
I was going to end this testimony with a scratch and sniff card, but decided not to. This
is the reality of noncompliance in my driveway. This was made by ONE Hen.
