SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 04-12, Which Adopts the Council
Rules for 2012-2014
Below is an amendment to the proposed Council Rules for 2012-2014 as attached to
Resolution 04-12. Rule No. 16 (Order of Business), Section 2 is amended to move
"Communications" so that it follows "Statements from the Public." The changes are illustrated
via Ramseyer format and read as follows (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken;
material to be added is underscored):
"2. The following shall be the Order of Business for the Council:

(b) Roll Call
(c) Pledge of Allegiance
(d) Approval of Minutes
(e) Petitions, Memorials, [Communications,] Certificates of Merit and Expressions
