Re: Kula`imano Housing Program
Dear Chairman Yagong and Council Members,
In an effort to provide transparency, we are notifying the Council that the Office of the
Legislative Auditor has requested the Department of Finance Purchasing Division issue a
supplemental agreement to Contract No. 003571 in the amount of an additional $5,000 as
payment for additional services performed by Accuity LLP verifying that the County of Hawaii
has properly and accurately prepared the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development
Forms for FY 2011-2012 as required by the USDA relating to the Kula'imano Housing Program.
Funding for the supplemental agreement in the amount of $5,000 will be from the Legislative
Auditor's External Audit Miscellaneous Contract Services Account No. 010.108.5108.15.115.
