Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Frank Commendador to the County of Hawaii Board of
Appeals. Mr. Commendador is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He is the President and Owner of
Jan-Guard Hawai'i, Inc., and he is also a coffee and tea farmer.
Mr. Commendador previously served as a member of the Action Committee of the Puna
Community Development Plan. He has been the President of Fern Acres Community
Association for the past six years. Mr. Commendador states that he is not affiliated with any
political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2017.
