It is my pleasure to nominate David De Luz, Jr. of Council District 5 to the County of
Hawaii Fire Commission. Mr. De Luz is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He is currently
Vice President of David S. De Luz, Sr., Enterprises. Mr. De Luz is a member of the
Rotary Club of Hilo Bay, Kanoelehua Industrial Area Association (KIAA), Crime
Stoppers Hilo and the Hawai'i County Economic Opportunity Council (HCEOC).
Mr. De Luz states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will
serve a term that will expire on December 31, 2017.
