Regarding Papaikou Mills Public Access

We are in favor of public access to be established at Papaikou Mills beach.Hawaii island
does not have enough public recreational facilities.Please do whatever is necessary to
implement a public trail.
During the 90's I was an assistant with a group program for juveniles administered by
YWCA in Hilo.The leader I assisted took our group there weekly to body surf.This
beach provides a need in our community.
Thank you for your hard work to assist the people of East Hawaii to have needed beach
areas that they can share.
