RE: Resolution Regarding Compensation Scale of the LA-III Pay Grade
For your favorable consideration, I am forwazding a resolution that amends Salary
Ordinance No. 98-51 by adding additional steps to the compensation scale of the LA-III
pay grade for the fiscal/program review auditor.
The amendments are to the lower end of the compensation scale and will not impact the
Council/Clerk's budget.

RE: Attached Resolution
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regazd to Resolution No. 9-98 ,that amends
Salazy Ordinance No. 98-51 by adding additional steps to the compensation scale of the LA-III
pay grade for the fiscal/program review auditor, waiving said referral from the Committee on
Finance in order that appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be granted.
