Re: Resolution to Create Equipment Accounts
The enclosed is a resolution creating equipment accounts for the Special
Operations grant. Funds are to purchase cameras and other miscellaneous
equipment.
As the grant commences in January 1999, the department would like this
resolution to go directly to the Council meeting scheduled on December 23,
1998.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Police Department.

RE: Attached Resolution
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County
of Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regards to Resolution No. 12-98 , to
create equipment accounts for the Special Operations grant, funds are to purchase
cameras and other miscellaneous equipment, waiving said referral from the Committee
on Finance in order that appropriate action betaken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that this waiver be
granted.
