Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 37, reports as follows:
Communication No. 37, from Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated December 17, 2012, nominates
Mr. Paul Bleck to the Kailua Village Design Commission. Mr. Bleck is a 24-year resident of
Hawai`i and a former member of this commission. He is a self-employed architect living within
the Kailua Village Special District with construction management experience. Mr. Bleck states
that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed he will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2014.
Mr. Bleck is not required to appear before the Council for final confirmation.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Communication No. 37
and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Mr. Paul Bleck to the Kailua Village
Design Commission.
