SUBJECT: RESOLUTION NO. 29-13; A RESOLUTION TO NOMINATE A
DIRECTOR TO SERVE ON THE WESTERN INTERSTATE REGION
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
During the discussion on the January 9, 2013 Council meeting regarding
Resolution 29-13, I made reference to an email I received as a member of the
Transportation Steering Committee. Attached herein please find the referenced email
from Bob Fogel dated January 8, 2013.

RE: NACo 2013 Legislative Conference
The NACo 2013 Legislative Conference will take place March 2-6,2013 in Washington,DC at the
Washington Hilton Hotel and Convention Center. We hope you can attend. To help you plan for the
conference,we have listed the tentative schedule for the Transportation Steering Committee. Please note
that in a change to the conference schedule additional time has been reserved on Tuesday and
Wednesday,March 5 and 6, for Capitol Hill meeting. .
Remember that all new resolutions/policy that you want considered by the steering committee must be
submitted to NACo by February 1 (30 days prior to the conference). Please feel free to contact Bob
Fogel of the NACo staff to discuss any resolutions you are considering or simply send them to him.
