Subject: CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION FOR FEBRUARY 6TH COUNCIL MEETING
This is to notify you that I am planning on presenting a certificate on the February 6, 2013
scheduled Hawai`i County Council meeting. The certificate awardee is Chief Harry Kubojiri and
the Hawaii County Police Department for being awarded accreditation from the Commission on
Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (C.A.L.E.A.) for meeting all of the criteria in
complying with nationally recognized standards in providing quality service to our community.
Deputy Chief Ferreira will be in attendance along with other C.A.L.E.A. members to accept the
certificate on behalf of Chief Harry Kubojiri and the Hawaii Police Department.
We expect to take approximately ten (10) minutes at the Council Meeting on February 6`"

This Is A Major Accomplishment On The Part Of Chief Kubojiri, His Leadership Team
