(Res. 53-13) OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL WHEN THE SAME ATTORNEY
REPRESENTS DIVERGENT INTERESTS OF THE EXECUTIVE AND
LEGISLATIVE BRANCHES
From Council Member Margaret Wille, dated January 29, 2013. Resolves that the
Mayor take appropriate steps to ensure that a Deputy Corporation Counsel is assigned
to represent the Legislative Branch and that this attorney will not be under the
substantive supervision of the Corporation Counsel but rather be independently
accountable to the County Council.
Forwards Res. 53-13 to Council with a negative recommendation:

Comm. 132: PRESENTATION BY THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI‘I AT HILO COLLEGE OF
PHARMACY
From Council Member Dennis “Fresh” Onishi, dated February 7, 2013, requesting
time for the above presentation. The purpose of the presentation is to provide an
update on the effort of establishing a permanent building for the College of Pharmacy.

Submitting Video Testimony: Those submitting video testimony may email a complete web address (url)

(communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video
