SUBJECT: Transmittal of a resolution authorizing exemptions of
certain code requirements, pursuant to section 201H-38 and
section 46-15 of the HAWAI' I REVISED STATUTES for the
housing units to be constructed by Kidds Development
Corporation at Kumulani Gardens in South Hilo. Recommended
for approval by the HCHA on February 19, 2013.
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted a
Resolution authorizing exemptions of certain code requirements,
pursuant to section 201H-38 and section 46-15 of the HAWAI' I REVISED
STATUTES for the housing units to be constructed by Kidds Development
Corporation at Kumulani Gardens in South Hilo to the Hawai' i County
Housing Agency and received approval on February 19, 2013. The votes
for the Resolution are as follows:
AYES: J. Yoshimoto, G. Ilagan,V. Poindexter,
Z. Kern, D. Kanuha, M. Wille, K. Eoff - 7
NOES: B. Ford, D. Onishi - 2
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: None.
Accordingly, I am requesting that the Resolultion be included on the
Council agenda for action at its March 13, 2013 meeting.
