Ogin (3-year term): Mr. Ogin lives in Kailua-Kona and has resided on Hawaii Island for over 30 years. He has been active in the business community and is the president of Clark Realty Group, which is a Real Estate and Land Management Company. Mr. Ogin has been active in community organizations such as the Kona Kohala Chamber, Rotary Club of Kona, Hawaii Island YMCA and the Kailua Village Design District Commission. His business insight and business community contacts brings a much-needed perspective to this committee. o Hiram P. Rivera (4-year term): Mr. Rivera is a lifelong resident of Hawaii County and resides in North Kona with his wife and family. He is a lineal descendent of the ahapua'a of Kahalu'u, his family's heritage extends over 200 years on the Island of Hawaii. Mr. Rivera was raised on a Kona coffee & macadamia nut farm, graduated from Konawaena High School, and is a past president of the Lion's Club. He is the owner of a site construction company locally based in Kona. Mr. Rivera's local knowledge of Kailua's past and present development will assist the Action Committee in determining its future. o Chauncey T. Wong Yuen (3-year term): Mr. Wong Yuen is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He is a graduate of Konawaena High School. Mr. Wong Yuen is a former Aloha Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines executive, currently employed by the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Airport Division as the Hawaii airports district manager. Mr. Wong Yuen was named State Manager of the year by Governor Linda Lingle. Council Action Due By: April 6, 2013 Last Council Meeting: March 28, 2013 [� Comm. Nagata (4-year term): Mr. Nagata is a lifelong Kona resident. He is a graduate of Konawaena High School and Willamette University (Oregon) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Nagata has been employed by the State of Hawaii's Department of Human Services as a social worker since 1987. He was the head football coach at Konawaena High School from 2006 to 2011, a past Parent Teacher's Association President and a past executive board member for the Alzheimer's Association Kona Chapter. Mr. Nagata is presently an Interdisciplinary team member for the Big Island's elderly population and participated in the community's regional park (Old Airport) planning. He has been active with various youth organizations such as the Big Island Pop Warner Association, American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), and the Kona Pony Baseball. His hobbies include pig hunting, fishing, four-wheeling (ATV), professional photography and golf. o Elaine Fukushima (4-Year Term): Ms. Fukushima is a 30-year resident of Kailua-Kona. She has worked for the past 2 %years as an estate manager for Vulcan Personal Services and prior to that as a personal assistant for the Troxel Family Office. Ms. Fukushima has served as the West Hawaii representative on the Community Based Economic Development Council, and in 1996 ran as the Democratic nominee for the State House. Her interests include swimming, walking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Should you have any questions or concerns, please call me at your convenience.
