No. 121 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 3:29 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 121, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 121, from Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated January 25, 2013 transmits the <br /> nomination of Ms. Deborah L. Chang to the Hawai`i County Cultural Resources Commission. <br /> Ms. Chang is a lifelong resident of Hawai`i. She is a self-employed land use planner specializing <br /> in trails and access issues. Ms. Chang states that she is not affiliated with any political party. <br /> Ms. Chang will serve a 1-year term. <br /> Because Ms. Chang was not able to be present and today's committee meeting she has been <br /> requested to appear before the full Council for final confirmation. <br /> For informational purposes Council Member Ford voted "kanalua"then"no"and commented <br /> that she will approve of the nominee when Ms. Chang appears before the Council for <br /> confirmation. <br /> Your Committee on Planning is in accordance with the purpose and intent of Communication <br /> No. 121, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Ms. Deborah L.
