Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 121, reports as
follows:
Communication No. 121, from Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated January 25, 2013 transmits the
nomination of Mr. Boone Morrison to the Hawai`i County Cultural Resources Commission.
Mr. Morrison is a 53-year resident of Hawai`i. He is the owner of Boone Morrison Architects,
Inc., specializing in historic preservation. Mr. Morrison states that he is not affiliated with any
political party. He will serve 5-year term, and is not required to appear before the Council for
final confirmation.
Your Committee on Planning is in accordance with the purpose and intent of Communication
No. 121, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Mr. Boone Morrison to the
Hawai`i County Cultural Resources Commission.
