SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-278 - ROADS CLOSED TO PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10 (Schedules), Division 4
(Pedestrians), Section 24-278, Schedule 26 (Roads closed to pedestrian traffic), subsection (f)
Kona be amended by deleting existing items:
(-1-)- Haleki'i Street, from the Mamalahoa Bypass Highway intersection to a point 0.76 mile in
the easterly d1Yec i n

intersection.
The intent of this amendment is to revise the Hawaii County Code in accordance with
the Mamalahoa Highway Bypass Road project.
A location map is attached for your reference.
