Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year, for a
new multi-year lease agreement, for one multi-function copier for the Department of Parks and
Recreation. The machine they currently use, has a lease which expires in July 2013, and is in
constant need of repair. They wish to replace it with a new unit, to be used by their Coordinated
Services for the Elderly section at the Aging and Disability Resource Center in Hilo, Hawai`i.

A. REQUEST:
Approval to enter into a five year lease for a medium size copier for Coordinated Services for the Elderly at
ADRC
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Coordinated Service for the Elderly's copier lease will be expiring in July 2013. A copier is needed daily for
servicing clients, faxing and scanning of information. Information and assistance makes copies of clients
information for assisting them with filing information with various agenices for assistance.
Copier is also used by Account Clerks for processing of fiscal matters for Coordinated Services and EAD.
