ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11-40 OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,
PERTAINING TO THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR THE
PURPOSE OF FINANCING VARIOUS PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS DESCRIBED THEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1 1-40 is amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. Authorization of Bonds. There are hereby authorized for issuance and
sale, in one or more series, Bonds of the County, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed
$56,000,000, for the purpose of funding all or a portion of the costs (including costs of issuance
of the Bonds) of public improvement projects authorized and set forth as follows:

SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is
underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and
underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given
effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
