Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Ms. Faith Yates to the North Kohala Community
Development Plan Action Committee. Ms Yates is a 14 year resident of North Kohala
and a lifetime resident of Hawaii. She was employed for 25 years as an Administrative
Assistant for Prudential. Ms. Yates has a cultural background associated with her
activities in hula, chants, Hawaiian music and believes Hawaiian values are very
important. She has been involved in community groups both on the Island of Hawaii
and Oahu. If confirmed, Ms. Yates will serve a 4-year term.
