Thank you for contacting me in regard to the development of public lands. I greatly
appreciate that you have taken the time to express your views.
Currently, there are several bills regarding the development of public land that are
making their way through the legislative process. Should such legislation be placed on
my desk for approval, I will whole-heartedly take perspectives such as yours into
consideration as I weigh measures on their merits.
I remain committed to working closely with the Legislature and all interested parties
involved to do what is in the best interest of the people of Hawaii and our public lands.
