The new sewer line will connect to the existing line at the Manawale‘a St. / Ane Keohokālole Highway intersection and will be treated at the Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment Plant. Recommends adoption of Res. 79-13: Ayes: Committee Members Eoff, Ford, Ilagan, Kern, Onishi, Poindexter, Wille, Yoshimoto, and Chair Kanuha – 9. Noes: None. Absent: None. Serving the Interests of the People of our Island Hawai‘i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer EMC-2 Page 2 March 27, 2013 Comm. 181: AMENDS CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE 4, SECTION 20-47 OF THE HAWAI‘I (Bill 44) COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO COLLECTION OF FEES From Council Member Zendo Kern, dated March 5, 2013. The proposed bill establishes new payment methods for commercial haulers, and reduces the grace period before which a finance charge is implemented from 60 days to thirty 30 days for all overdue collections of solid waste fees. Postponed Bill 44 to April 8, 2013. Ayes: Committee Members Eoff, Ford, Ilagan, Kern, Onishi, Poindexter, Wille, Yoshimoto, and Chair Kanuha – 9. Noes: None. Absent: None.
