ORDINANCE NO. 1 R 36
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 12-87,AS AMENDED,RELATING
TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR JULY 1, 2012 TO JUNE 30, 2013.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 12-198, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and
Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, is hereby amended by
adding the following appropriation:
PARKS AND RECREATION:
Kona Emergency Shelter&Multi-purpose Event Center $ 30,000,000
(110.599.5596.51)
SECTION 2. Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from:
County General Obligation Bonds $ 11,000,000
State Grants Receivable $ 10,000,000
Federal—Air National Guard Assistance $ 2,000,000
Federal Grants(Emergency shelter) $ 5,000,000
Fair Share/Parks or other funding $ 2,000,000
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
