RE: Proposed Bill No. 10, Draft 3
Applicant: Jack Ramos Ranch, Inc.
TMK: 3-5-3:27 and 75, and 3-5-4:8
Attached for your favorable consideration is proposed Bill No. 10, Draft 3, which includes the
following changes as discussed at today's Planning Committee Meeting:
1. Delete the first sentence in Condition D. Due to the zoning change from
residential to agricultural, the number of homes to be constructed is not as many
as originally anticipated, so the traffic impact at the intersection will be less, thus
eliminating the need for the channelized intersection.
2. Delete Condition E and renumber the remaining Conditions. Reference to
Kihalani Camp Road is incorrect, the correct name should be Papaaloa Road; and
the proposed elimination of the connection of Papaaloa Road to the Hawaii Belt
Highway will alienate azea residents by removing their access to the highway.
3. Delete the second sentence in former Condition I. The hydrologic/drainage study
was completed.
