Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Alton Nosaka of Council District 4 to the County of
Hawaii Transportation Commission. Mr. Nosaka is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. He is
a Business Agent with the United Public Workers, where he has been employed since
2004. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Nosaka was employed by the County of Hawai'i as a
Laborer II with the Department of Public Works.
Mr. Nosaka states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will
serve a term to expire on December 31, 2017, replacing Billie Keawekane whose term
expired on December 31, 2012.
