SUBJECT: Transmittal of a resolution authorizing the exemption of certain code
requirements, pursuant to section 201H-38 of the Hawaii Revised
Statutes for the proposed Hilo Adult Day Center at Mohouli Heights
Senior Housing Program in South Hilo. Recommended for approval
by the HCHA on April 8, 2013.
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted a Resolution
authorizing the exemption of certain code requirements, pursuant to section 201 H-38 of
the Hawaii Revised Statutes for the proposed Hilo Adult Day Center at Mohouli Heights
Senior Housing Program in South Hilo to the Hawaii County Housing Agency and
received approval on April 8, 2013. The votes for the Resolution are as follows:
AYES: J Yoshimoto, B. Ford, G. Ilagan, D. Onishi, V. Poindexter,
Z. Kern, D. Kanuha, M. Wille, K. Eoff- 9
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: None
Accordingly, I am requesting that the Resolution be included on the Council agenda for
action at it's May 1, 2013 meeting.
