SUBJECT: Transmittal of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute and
submit the 2013 Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) and the State's Hawaii Housing Finance
and Community Development Corporation (HHFDC) recommended
for approval by the HCHA on April 8, 2013.
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted a Resolution
authorizing the Mayor to execute and submit the 2013 Action Plan to HUD and HHFDC
for approval to the Hawai'i County Housing Agency and received approval on
April 8, 2013. The votes for the Resolution are as follows:
AYES: J Yoshimoto, B. Ford, G. Ilagan, V. Poindexter,
Z. Kern, D. Kanuha, M. Wille, K. Eoff- 8
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: D. Onishi - 1
Accordingly, I am requesting that the Resolution be included on the Council agenda for
action at it's May 1, 2013 meeting.
