SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-280 - NO PARKING AT ANYTIME
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10 (Schedules), Division 5
(Parking), Section 24-280, Schedule 28 (No parking at anytime), subsection (f) Kona be
amended by adding new item and renumbering as required:
( ) ALII DRIVE, WEST (MAKAI SIDE), FROM A POINT SEVENTY-FIVE FEET
NORTH OF KALEIOPAPA STREET AND EXTENDING FOUR HUNDRED
TWENTY-TWO FEET IN THE SOUTHERLY DIRECTION.
The intent of this amendment it to establish a no parking at anytime zone to include the
Keauhou Punahele driveway and a seventy-five foot portion of Alii Drive north of
Kaleiopapa Street.
A location map is attached for your reference.
