COUNCIL – TSUNAMI EMERGENCY BRIEFING BY CIVIL DEFENSE
From Council Chairperson Dominic Yagong, dated March 11, 2011, requesting that
the Hawai‘i County Council schedule a “Special Meeting of the Hawai‘i County
Council” to be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, 5:30 p.m. in the Council Room, at
the West Hawai‘i Civic Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokālole Highway, Building A,
Kona, Hawai‘i. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a special meeting for a civil
defense briefing on the March 11, 2011 tsunami emergency and response.

and Chair Yagong – 6.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Members Blas, Ikeda, and Onishi – 3.

Public Attendance via Videoconference is available at the locations(s) above and at the Waimea Council Office at
the Holomua Center, 64-1067 Māmalahoa Highway, Suite 5. If audio stream between Kona and Hilo is lost for
more than a short period of time, the meeting will be terminated.
