Re: Resolution for multi-year agreement
The County's Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) published a Public
Notice on December 1, 2010, December 8, 2010 and December 15, 2010, informing property
owners that the OHCD was accepting proposals for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher
Program. Mohouli Senior Phase 1, LLP, owner of the Mohouli Heights Neighborhood Project
Phase I has been selected for this program utilizing the Section 8 Project-Based Voucher
Program's evaluation process.
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year Housing Assistance
Payment Contract (Agreement) with Mohouli Senior Phase 1, LLP.

A. REQUEST:
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) requests Finance Committee and County
actions authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year Housing Assistance Payment Contract (Agreement)
with Mohouli Senior Phase 1, LLP, owner of the Mohouli Heights Neighborhood Project Phase I (Project),
selected for the Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Program (PBV Program) as offered through a Public
Notice dated December 1, 8, and 15, 2010.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The purpose of the PBV Program is to encourage property owners to make available rental housing units to
low-income families that are not within the current housing fair market rents. The OHCD will attach an
Agreement to existing structures.
The OHCD, through the Request for Proposal process selected the Project for twenty (20) project based
vouchers.
